or what type of books attract your interest? 97% of what i read is non-fiction history and criminology. but i am also a charles dickens fanatic, and for a good laugh carl hiassen is the best...i particularly like him because he places his stories in south florida and the keys. he is absolutely hilarious~what do you gravitate to when you need a good book?

Depends in the type of book, but in no particular order;

Clive Cussler
Dale Brown
Stephen King
Michael Crichton
James Mitchner
Terry Goodkind
J.R.R. Tolkien
Terry Brooks
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Edgar Allen Poe
Robert Service

I'm sure there are more but I have no one single favorite author
