I don't care much for Snoop... but good Gawd...

A PAPERCLIP was a deadly weapon in Bruce Lee's hands..

A "collapsible baton" in mine would be for conducting music, I suppose...

But Snoop is such a dangerous person that a "collapsible baton" is something he could use to threaten the very existence of fellow air travellers???

(after Google)...

OK ...so it's a martial arts weapon of far less danger than something sharp or a projectile weapon..

So take the thing away from him... make him check it... whatever....

I suppose...

But it'd also be possible to kill someone with a FRIGGIN umbrella too---

Or a common cane, or any kind of rod available anywhere...

What else are you going to ban people from carrying?

what's the matter with you? you some terrorist loving freak or something?

don't you care that we can be attacked at any time? i bet you'd love it if we were.......my grandfather fought in world war two so don't you tell me about freedom, we have to protect it and make sacrifices, so what if there's a bunch of rules, they're there to protect your liberty.......my daddy used to call people like you commie pink-Os.

True, but they weren't designed as weapons, whose only use is as a weapon. Context is everything.
