I just read in National Geographic that Nar-wal tusk's can be had in Alaska for 2500.00. is the antique penis strong enough to break ice? We will never ever know, but it does make a person wonder............and it is kinda sad that someone has the kind of money to say "I have a walrus penis 48" long" come looksee. It is a great accomplishment.
I guess what I'm trying to say is "size doesn't matter" at least thats what I tell myself.............but only when I'm alone. ..................I am the egg man, I am the walrus!

When my Dad was in college, some people he knew (I think it was a some young women) started up some scavenger-hunting business, claiming they could find anything for a fee.
Thinking to trip them up, Dad said, "OK, find me a narwhal tusk". I think he offered a hundred bucks or something like that. (This being the early 1960s or so, when a hundred bucks would have been a fairly considerable amount of money).
Narwhal tusks are pretty rare, of course, and are big huge long pieces of ivory. In medieval times, they sold for princely sums because people thought they were unicorn horns.
Well, to make a long story short, these people called Dad's bluff, and to his surprise, produced a genuine narwhal tusk, about five feet long.
I remember it standing in the corner of our living room when I was a kid. As I recall, it had a few old holes where it had been suspended from chains at one point. It was very old, I'm sure, but I don't know how old, exactly.
I wish Dad hadn't sold it- I'd love to have it today.
I don't recall the story of how they found it- it would have been pretty interesting. Consider that they did this a generation before the Internet and eBay. I wonder what a narwhal tusk would go for today! Betcha couldn't touch one for a hundred bucks, not even if you adjusted for inflation! (Edit- I just read the post above this one. 2500 bucks, huh? Bet Dad didn't get that for his.)
