i don't think i mentioned this before.   we bought this portable heat pump for the bus...it doesn't work well when it's real cold out, but days like today when it was in the 30's and snowing ::wait:: outside,

it kept the bus about 67...and in summer it will double as an air conditioner.  ::danceb::

it has to be vented because it's a heat pump...and right now i have it attached to the window with velcro and Duct Tape.  :lmao:

Woe.............back up!   DECK?  On the bus??  Now that I want to see!  How large of a deck?  One for chairs etc, or one to be able to open the back door, and have some nice air flowing through, kind of like a french door with a railing outside it.

Amy, did you ever decide on a name for your bus yet?

It'll be approximately 4'x8' with a railing...not sure why...it's not long enough yet?  :lmao:

there was a smaller one on it...made out of plywood...he trashed that...has a new welder he want's to try out, so what the heck!

and no...no name yet........

btw: I got the kitchen floor done today!  ::danced:: looks so much better!   no pictures yet though... I used those fake wood laminate panels that interlock.    I had been thinking about doing that...and yesterday when i went to the store I noticed that they were half price.  So it only cost me $50 instead of the $100 I was planning on...couldn't resist!   My husband doesn't know i did that yet...he's working overtime today...he'll just be surprised the next time he goes in there.  :bigwink:

I'll bet it's pretty.  Is it the light wood look, or darker like Oak?  Remember to wipe up any water spill though.  Some of it doesn't do well with any liquid on it for any length of time.  Ours started to buckle under the wood panels.  Had to have it re-done.   I'm anxious to see pictures of these new projects!!

It's light Oak. :)

thanks for the heads up.  I would hate to have to redo it, if i can avoid it.

I'll post updated pictures when i can.

btw: did you see our water pump/kitchen faucet that we installed yesterday? ::chuckle::  I'm so glad it works...it would have been a big worthless conversation piece had it not.  (which at first we thought that's what we had, but just had to allow time for the leathers to get soaked up and swollen with water first. ::wheww::)

Yes!  I love your pump!  I think it would be a kick to use one too.  My brother had one in his mountain cabin, and it was great!!  I'm glad it works, I think you'll really like it!
