I was mudding the last wall in my collectables room and I put my hand up on the beam to reach for the last spot on the top and in the middle of the beam was a matchbox car on top of these cards! I wonder how that kid got up there? They are fairly ragged but I can just imagine that kid streching to stick these up there in a dark corner on top of something like a pogo-stick or his sisters bureau that was filled with Christmas decorations stretching with his tounge licking his top lip with a determined look in his eyes. And never going back to get it.

I am thinking maybe 30.00 tops but thats just for the yogi @ the bot. That's a cut rookie not worth much more the others are the drakes series that do not bring much mutilated like they are. Still worth throwing in the album. I am due to get more sleeves.......soon ....as long as the sports store stays in biz .........cards are comming on hard times as of late maybe even going the way of stamps (heaven forbid) I hope coin collecting does not go that way and hate the idea of them just becoming bullion.

It was neat to find them laying as they have for 20 yrs or so, with 20 yrs of dust to blow away in about 2 secs. I searched around and found the 1954 service schedule for the original furnace stuffed in there a couple bays over.

Cool Berra card. Does it say "Yogi" or "Larry" on the back?
