Could something a regular person a high school student to be precise, made in metal shop  over 20 years ago be considered a collectable if it was a unique one of a kind thing, like spiked rings. I ask because my brother in law made a set of 4 when he was in high with the intent of making bullies think he was going to use them like brass knuckles. Ofcourse he never did use them and his mother stored them for him and he had great workmanship. so I thought what if.

I think a collectible is something that a mass amount of people collect.

But then again something like a glass-blown bottle is unique and could be considered a collectible item by itself.

So if someone created a unique item beit scrimshaw or say a spiked ring it becomes collectible in the context of a spiked ring collection or an ivory carving collection.

The good thing about collecting things is that 9 times out of 8 there is someone out there that collects the same thing. And then you create your own collection.

So yes your brothers disco spiked hand made metal vampire thwarfting device would be a great collectible to say someone like a girl named Buffy.::nsmile::
