Yep that it is, that's the reason i got it so i can look at coins and fossils closer and with my bad eye sight this is a great help to see details up close

Neato. Maybe check out those magnifying lights some people use for drafting or drawing. It's basically a big magnifier that also casts light out on the object.

This magnifier was made for the state quarter program

it does have many uses but it's main use is in the coin hobby

I bought the smaller one, there is a large size, but since i have 4 other magnifiers i needed one i could carry to the coin shop, the others i have are too big to fit in my pocket
