I never collected them, but I was always secretly jealous of those who did.  I admit it.

I always liked Morgan dollars and especially Peace dollars.  In October 2001, I wrote an article about the Peace dollar and it is on the Heritage website.  The url is:

Its always been strange to me that there are so few peace fans relative to those who collect Morgans.  Yes, the former are a shorter series, and not quite as old, but the design is more graceful and to my eye, much prettier.

I'd read your article before, and enjoyed reading it again ::appl::

Thanks Don

that was very interesting reading, you did very good, LOL i am just starting my Peace dollar set, LOL have a long ways to go. so far i have been able to pick up a few, LOL the 22 & 23 -P  but i am watching the mail now, LOL for a PCGS ms-63 1928-P , in studing the peace dollar i have found it to be very diffacult to grade them ,with such a week strike . i have bought a book to help with grading the peace dollar ,should be in soon.  in trying to find a ms- grade by some of the pixs out there is very hard. LOL did you find it this diffacult when you first started collecting her?
