What do you think my gold coin collection is worth? Here are the coins:

The small coin is a gold fanam. The St.Gaudens is a PCGS MS63 No Motto 1908.

BTW - what Aquila said on the US coins

The other coins are basically worth melt (based on $580 spot).

The Chinese coin - about $20

The Mexican 5 Peso - 0.1205 oz AGW = about $70.  BTW - the 1955 5 Peso is a restrike bullion piece.  Restrike means coins with the same date were minted for many different years, not just 1955.

The Indian Fanam is probably worth about $5 to $10 depending on the design.

The nuggets are very melt.  Depends upon weight, but figure about $15 to $17 per gram.

The French coin looks like a 20 Franc circa 1850 - 0.1867 oz. AGW = about $105.  If it's a 10 Franc, half everything

The British Sovereign weighs 0.2354 oz. AGW = about $135.

Thanks. The franc is a 10 franc, I paid $75. How much is the St.Gaudens worth? What about the indian?

Thanks again.

Hi GoldCoinLover!

As you can read, AquilaStorm already answered your question.

Your collection has grown in value quite a bit with the rise in gold prices.  Good investment!

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. -Matthew 22:37-39
