Sorry. Doesn't change my mind. I'm sure that every pit bull that ever lost it and attacked a human was considered a "good dog" right up until the unexpected and tragic incident. That's what's so scary about that breed. They're like a ticking time bomb.

Saint, you are so ignorant on the subject of dogs. Please stop trying to recussitate this topic on how pit bulls just snap. Your lamely tried to get it going again in the sports forum and it didn't work. Dont' play that game here. I'm smarter than you when it comes to dogs. If your sole purpose is to come here and campaign against pit bulls, DON'T. It isn't welcome. The MAIN purpose of this forum is to HELP PEOPLE HELP THEIR PETS. Not bash one animal over another regardless if you like the species/breed or not. I know more chihuahuas that go off for no reason than any big bully breed.

Before you set a double standard, realize that I was responding politely to another's post and in no way does that violate any kind of rule. From what I could tell in this above post, pit bulls were exactly what this thread was about.

saint have you ever bothered to think that humans most likely LIED about the situation at hand when the dog attacked? I'll bet you 99% of those attacks are instigated by human negletct in one way or another. Case in point: early this year a 6 week old pit bull puppy gnawed off an infant's toes. The news was all over the fact that it was a pit bull and how at no matter what age you can't trust these dogs blah, blah, blah. The first thing in my mind was the puppy was too young to be away from it's mother, unsupervised and what on earth was that baby doing on the floor. Turns out the family had the children taken away because they neglected the children, animals all over the house, feces, piss and filth all over. Animals neglected too. Now, you were not replying nicely. You were being a smart ass and I won't have it. I'm no fool. Your ignorance about pit bulls is astounding and I won't have an argument over this again here. You refuse to argue open mindedly and acknowledge facts and proof that you could possibly be WRONG when it comes to such things. I'm all for debate. Heated or not, but you my friend don't debate, you argue. You speak with ignorance on this subject and refuse to accept that some people just may know something factual and true. STOP IT NOW. If you can't say something nice in this topic don't.
