My cat, Holley, is not doing great these days.  We found out that she has kidney failure and her blood count is low.  Because she is 15 years old, we do not want to put her through alot of tests or other stress.

The vet has put her on Prednisone once a day.  My mom puts it in her food.

She acts fine and I try to take time every day to enjoy her, because I really do not know how long it will be before she has to cross the Rainbow Bridge.  We have decided that when the time comes, we will let the vet humanely escort her over the bridge.

She has had a good life, and she is a good cat.  Marie even likes her, even though Holley makes her sneeze. ::chuckle::
