Is there a new pet in the house? Is she an older dog? There could be many reasons she won't chew them any longer.

Sometimes elderly dogs don't bother anymore but will still find comfort knowing they are 'there where they left them'.

Hi, No new pets.  She is getting older, just turned 8.  I don't mind.  It actually had me concerned that she ate them up so fast.  She likes to take them out and hide them in a new spot every now and then.

Yeah, she just probably likes to have them handy even though the thrill she used to get out of them is gone. Kind of like not wanting to give them up totally and it gives her comfort they are there 'just in case'.

I had a few old dogs who behaved like this as they got older. Old is a different plateau for every breed or mix of breeds.

I just uploaded a pic of her in the pets photo area here.  About two years ago she turned gray.  Used to be 99% black.  Still has the energy of a puppy and greets me like a maniac everynight I come home.

Oddly, my cat doesn't do bones either.  But he's a bandit with a laser pointer!
