After the loss of two of our cats, the wife and I adopted three kittens from the local SPCA. The surviving cats were missing the others and we also needed some new friends to help us through our loss. ::vsad::

I forgot to add they are a little over three months old and holy terrors! Just under three pounds they have enough energy for the wife and I to last a week! :shock:

I know about the energy for all bit! I've got 5 now including my 19 year old man Smitty and they still tear around the house at mach speed from 3 AM till sun-up as if they were three month olds!

I wouldn't have it any other way!

Enjoy your kittens, they are lovely and great that you kept the family together.

Whenever we adopt we always get at least two so they have someone to keep them company while we're out earning the kitty food and litter...::thumbs::

I'd like to meet their foster mom as they were purr-monsters from day one. They will frequently begin purring as soon as you pick them up! ::nsmile:: We love their markings and are getting them used to having their little tummys scratched. :smitten: The hard part is hearing one of them scream while they rough-house. They bite eachother hard, I've seen one latch on to another's face! :blink:

Frisky he is! He's the biggest of the three and growls at the others at feeding time. He does like to do one thing that is very sweet. Buddy likes to crawl onto our shoulder and purr in our ear! While hyperactive at this age I think they will be lovers when they slow down. :smitten:

Their being small is a blessing and a curse. They are so cute and adorable while kittens but man do they bite EVERYTHING that moves! As you can see in two of the pix above they have learned to love shoelaces. Being so small I worry about stepping on one in lowlight conditions.
