Ahh, I think I finally understand what's going on with the move... when I've seen it on TV, I just go to myself "How the hell do they do that!?  But first, WTF just happened???"  The "victim" probably has as much to do with successful execution of that move as Williams; a whole lot more than just "taking a bump" there.  Still, :woohoo: ::omg::

Yes the recipient of the move is basically doing a back flip onto the top of their head, it's down to the executer of the move to make sure the recipients head and neck are cradled between the his legs properly to avoid serious injury.

Heres another sweet move A J Styles executing his "Styles clash" finisher off the top rope.

That is crazy, wow!  I'm not a big wrestling fan, but that takes guts and talent.

No shit Bullion dude !

It's based on trust, all the big "bumps" are agreed before a match starts, the big "bumps" are called "high spots" and they are agreed beforehand. You have to have complete trust in your fellow wrestler that he will execute the move with due care and attention. Needless to say the trust involved is total, thats why I think wrestlers are among the most brave sportsman (I still think its a sport) out there.

It takes guts to get into a ring as a boxer and fight your opponent, it takes major guts to allow your body to be at risk in such a potentially dangerous way in the hands of your opponent.

what takes more guts ?, getting into a ring and saying "try to hurt me ?", or getting into a ring and saying "I will allow you to hurt me ?"

Wrestling is a hard game to play, the line between reality and fiction is very blurred.

I think if they just toned down the soap opera portion of wrestling it would be even more popular. Not get rid of it, just tone it down. Make the advertisments more about the crazy moves and action they perform all the time, that would get the general public more interested.

Not that wresting doesn't have a big following, it does. i just think it could be bigger.

It is pretty dangerous, and we love that!
