The is the first time a regular NFL season game has been played in the UK, hopefully it won't be the last.

I believe the new Wembley stadium is more or less sold out already.

I don't support either team, but would prefer the Giants to win, mainly because I always thought Dan Marino was a bit of a tosser !

If memory serves, "tosser" is derogatory.  If it is, you're right.  He's a twit.

Dolphins stink. They're 0-7. They can't win at home or away so I don't see them winning in UK.

They didn't but it was close.

The Dolphins lost 13-10.

It was pissing down (should've had the match up north it wasn't raining here) and the Wembley pitch (which is reserved for real football) now resembles a plowed field ! I don't think the turf was up to the abuse of some of he clets and sheer body mass of the NFL players.

90% of NFL players would be physically incapable of playing Premier league football due to their sheer size and lack of stamina/endurance (the average premier league player runs an average of 6 miles during a 90 minute game).

The fans packed the stadium out though a (90,000 sell out) and provided quite the atmosphere, yes we know the rules and yes we know when the pressure is on and when to cheer our team on, or boo the opposition (I've been conversant with the rules of Gridiron since 1984).

All in all it was a success, one of the Miami Dolphin Linebackers admitted he didn't know we actually spoke English in England ! :lmao: but I think the players were genuinely taken aback by the atmosphere.

Hopefully the NFL will return to England, (its my favourite American sport).

It was close, but we won! The field conditions were terrible. NFL size players were not meant to play on a field like that.

I thought the funniest thing were the constant whistles being blown by the audience.
