I used to like the resident evil games, the silent hill games, but i now found a series that is a serious mind job and is scary as ever The fatal frame series is that a mix of folklore, horror, terror and wondering what is going to come out from the walls or the floor, it's not what you see that can harm your player it's what you don't see until too late All your player has is a camera that can defeat the evil spirits that haunt these places but you have to move fast and take photos quickly, sometimes your player is in a area and is attacked by a hateful ghost, other times you follow a good ghost who helps you by leaving a message or a book behind or you snap a pic of a neutral ghost In these games the settings are dark, spooky, and just plain creepy and the story lines are filled with betrayal, lost loves, horror, folklore, death , and pure evil You have to solve the puzzles that are mixed into the game and find keys to open doors with The sounds in the game give them a extra creepy air, from random laughing of a woman, children singing a song, wind blowing up from a dry well, doors closing and opening , voices of unseen people in the games you can upgrade your camera with better film and lens, but finding these items can be a chore, backtracking, dodging ghosts trying to find them the places in the games range from a mansion, a village and a multi level manor Not to say that there are lots of books, pieces of papers and files to be picked up and read, these items have hints hidden in them In all the fatal frame games are a serious mind job Female characters in fatal frame 1-3 20 something yr old Rei Kurosawa =freelance photographer (main character in fatal frame 3) 19 yr old Miku Hinasaki= from fatal frame 1 and is in fatal frame 3 , works as rei's assistant. she has regained her spirit powers back (which means she can use the camera better then all the others) and she can get into tight spaces that other players can't 15 yr old Mio Amakura= from fatal frame 2 (also in fatal frame 3) 15 yr old mayu Amakura mio's twin sister= also from Fatal frame 2 (also in fatal frame 3) there is a minor character that you can play in fatal frame 3 26 yr old Kei Amakura (male) he can move objects that the females can't And your weapon for all the fatal frame games Is a camera called the "camera obscura" it catches spirits and helps see things that can't be seen with the naked eye And the end song for fatal frame 3 is called "KOE" which means voice done by Tsukiko Amano and her band pony canyon she did the end song for fatal frame 2 also
