Those sim city games are great. Also, try a game called sim farm. You raise livestock, grow crops, etc. It's very addictive.

Sim City 4 is a blast. We used to let the kids play the original in science class just to show them the infrastructure needed to run a city.

I kind of miss that old game.

Of course, the most fun is destroying your city with natural disasters.
