Great game!!!

The Giant's defense keep them in the game. That overhead catch by Tyree's and Manning somehow managing to avoid the sack during the last drive were the difference in the game.

Question is, should Manning be congratulated on that play for anything other than getting away! Note: Manning had the worst record for interceptions during the regular season.

I think Manning should be congratulated for at least keeping his composure.  Yes, it was a great catch, rather than a great throw, but I do think it's something that he had the presence of mind to throw that pass as accurately as he did.  He threw a lot worse passes in that game.

Wow, the Pats certainly didn't bring their game with them, & the giants did! Brady spent more time on the ground then standing up!!! The Pats ofensive line sucked, & the QB as good as he can be, is only as good as his ofensive line.::chuckle::

Eli was outstanding when it counted, you have to give credit where credit is due!!!

I take nothing away from the season the Pats had.

They played a good game but the Giants prevented the "big play". If the double coverage had been blown on one of those last couple of long attempts by the Pats they could have tied the game with a field goal and sent it into overtime.

It was a great game.

I agree with you about that 4th down, LH!  I couldn't believe the Pats went for it!    If they had gotten the field goal, it would've at least gone into overtime.

I have to confess, though:  I'm not really a football aficionado.  There are some things that I simply don't comprehend about the game.   For example:  I've always found it remarkable that a reasonable person would hand the ball off to the guy behind him and expect that person to run forward through this wall of 300-something-pound men.    If I were to decide to run the ball, I'd at least want to have someone at the line of scrimmage carry it.  The odds of a person getting through that mass of humanity to gain any decent yardage (from what I've seen) is pretty slim.  It always looks like it's going to be about as productive as Pickett's Charge.
