Ok, anyone else believe this guy makes as much money as her does? It is a small miracle for him to throw for more than 200 yards in a game, but yet we hear his name with manning and brady. Listen, the chargers could put LT at quarterback and he would run for more yards than Michael Vick...and probably throw for more as well. Somebody needs to chop this guy"s salary in half and make him a receiver. -Bullion

I could go into the whole twisted value system that makes people who save your life or make it better, (policemen, firemen and teachers,) live at the poverty level while a denser-than-uranium jock who runs around a field in shorts gets multi-millions... While I agree 100% that he might be overpaid in the sense of the rest of society, he is not overpaid in the sense of a NFL quarterback. I dont like him, but can see his value and potential. Very Very few NFL quarterbacks have won a ring, so in NFL terms they have won NOTHING. This includes both Mannings and virtually every other quarterback in the league. So is he overpaid, no. Does he have potential to run and pass as well or better then the other QB's in the league, of course yes. And honestly, take a look at most of the backups in the league - have not won anything either, or have failed somewhere. Finally, your example about LT at QB is completely wrong. He would not rush for more then Vick, because he has no experience in that set as a rusher. As a running back he knows what he is doing, but under center or starting from a shotgun with the entire other team focusing on him as the only option , he would be completely lost Again, I really don't like Vick, but I can understand his value.

The only reason MV get's paid as much as he does, is because he is flashy and sells seats. He is statistically one of the worst passers in the NFL. This is his fourth or fifth year, and he still has terrible passing stats. If LT had been playing QB for the last 3 or 4 years, I think he would be better than Vick. In terms of ther NFL, Vick get's paid WAY too much!! He will go down in history as a big waste of tiem and money. So what if he is blazing fast, in the long run it hurts his team.

Vick has a great arm and a great ability to run with the ball. As far as accuracy goes, he's a bottom of the barrel quarterback for the NFL. His style is still hard for NFL defenses to prepare for since the typical NFL quarterback is far less mobile. Teams with good Defensive Ends who can generate pass rush from the outside and force Vick to stay in the pocket will do well against the Falcons.

Eli Manning is also an overpaid chump. At least he hasn't been photographed and recorded giving the fans the finger. Nice going Michael. Bet your parents were proud of that one. At least Vick can advance the ball by rushing. Eli Manning wouldn't be in the NFL if his last name was something like Smith or Jones. Currently, the NFL is functioning at it's lowest level in a couple of decades. That's why there's so much hype concerning the Manning's and the Vicks.

Michael Vick is overrated. He didn't even make it to the Pro Bowl this year... why? Because he's not really that good. Yeah, he's fast and a danger when scrambling but give me a QB that can sit back in the pocket and deliver a pin point pass any day.
