Welcome to Smitty79's U.S. Coins, Currency & Bullion Forum! This is the all new place to be for collectors of U.S. coins, bullion and currency. A place to discuss everything from half cents to dollars, bullion rounds to bars, as well as all types of U.S. currency. Coins and currency has been an integral part of our history for some time now. And whether it's hunting down that elusive PL gem Morgan dollar or just cracking a smile when you notice a well worn wheat cent while rooting through your change, coin collecting has become one of, if not the most popular hobbies in America. And with the U.S. Mint continually releasing new products, it's sure not to fade anytime soon. So, weather your mad about metals or if paper is your passion, stick around cause we've got something for everybody! I myself am a collector of U.S. coins and bullion and I hope to enrich this forum with some new stuff in the future. I don't just want to make this my forum, I want to make this OUR forum. The collector's forum. If you have any ideas for features or additions that might be beneficial to the community, please feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do to make it happen. Some of our current features include access to a Gallery to host images for creating an online album or for ebay auctions. A Classified Ads section to post your coins and currency for sale. The Fine Print. Now for the part where some people groan and roll their eyes......the rules and member expectations. First off let me just state the obvious, these rules are for our own good and the good of the forum itself. I am NOT one of those mods that lets a forum fall into complete disarray by implementing a 'no rules, no worries' policy. It has been proven time and time again to be nothing but detrimental to the community as I'm sure some of our members have witnessed. On the other hand, I don't rule with an iron fist. These rules, as you will see, boil down to common sense, common decency and common courtesy.No off-topic posting, there are other forums for other such subject. I'd like to keep the classified ad 'shameless self promotion' to a minimum. This is to avoid clutter and to make room for the topic of collecting. No photographic pornography. Pretty self explanatory however there is one caveat, there are coin and bullion items out there which bear nudity/pornographic themes. I will allow posting of the nudity containing items as long as it's not too explicit (i.e nothing below the belt). Pornographic coin or bullion items are obviously prohibited. No hateful arguing, fighting personal; attacks or harassing. If you have a problem with someone, take it to PM's. Civilized debates regarding collecting is allowed as long as they stay civil. I have no problem with occasional swearing, just don't cuss like a sailor. ;) I really hope you will enjoy the forum and the additions that the future will bring.  Smitty79 To load coin images you go the Gallery and click upload photos, and keep it selected on Member Galleries for it to go under your name in your Gallery.
