Well got a scanner yesterday and still figuring out the workings of it, so far i've scanned a few notes with somwhat of good results
 
these are taken at  200 to 600 dpi

all were done on custom setting which is between 3.50 x 3.50 and 5.00 x 3.50

A little advice...if you want it, that is....do a preview scan, and highlight the only area you care to see..That way you get a lot more of the scanned item and no borders that you have now...

Congrats on the scanner...it looks like it does an excellent job...::nsmile::

I agree with Mill... that way you can fill up the entire image area, Prince. Instead of having it be small and surrounded by blank white space.  Congrats on the scanner. :)
