The parents of missing British toddler Madeleine McCann are reportedly in the middle of a bidding war between Barbara Walters and Oprah Winfrey for who will get an exclusive interview with the couple, the Daily Mail reported. A spokesman for the McCann family told the Daily Mail representatives of the family have held talks with producers from both shows. "We are discussing it but it doesn't mean we are definitely doing it," Clarence Mitchell told the Daily Mail, adding they would only agree to a deal to help find their 4-year-old daughter who vanished from a Portugal apartment where the family was vacationing last May. "Nothing has been agreed." Should the Oprah deal go through, Kate and Gerry McCann would be paid close to $2 million for their story, the newspaper reported.

Mrs Cooper told detectives she saw a "strange-looking man" loitering near the McCanns' holiday apartment on three separate occasions on the night Madeleine vanished. Her account matched a description given by Jane Tanner, a friend of the McCanns, of a man carrying a child wearing the same pyjamas as Madeleine. "I accept that the drawing looks like me," Mr Agostinho told reporters at an impromptu press conference in front of a bar in Altura. "All my friends have been laughing about it during the week saying how much it looks like me." However, he added: "I did not kill Madeleine and I've never been to Praia da Luz. "I don't drive a car so I couldn't possibly have done what people think. I did own a motorbike once but I lost it couple of years ago." He added: "I have no money. Report: Underworld Tip Leads Divers to Search for Madeleine McCann's Body in Reservoir Divers are searching an isolated reservoir in Portugal for missing British toddler Madeleine McCann after a lawyer received a tip her body may have been dumped there, the London Daily Mail reported Monday. *sigh* Tourist 'Spots' Missing Madeleine Updated:18:43, Wednesday February 20, 2008 A Dutch tourist has claimed she spotted missing British girl Madeleine McCann in southern France - the latest in a series of alleged sightings across the world. The holidaymaker told police she saw a child she thought was the four-year-old in the city of Montpellier. French police have taken CCTV from a cafe which reportedly shows the girl in question. Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for Madeleine's parents, said he was told the tourist was reportedly so sure it was the missing girl that she called out her name before a man rushed off with the child. He told Sky News: "Of course we've been here before. There have been many, many sightings of Madeleine, some where people, very well-meaning people, have said they are certain it was her and, of course, in those cases sadly it has proven not to be. "In this case, the young girl concerned says she is 100% certain it was Madeleine. "She apparently has also spoken about the mark in Madeleine's eye - which makes her very distinctive - as having seen that." edited later to add: French police say it is not Maddie after viewing CCTV tape. no surprise there.
