well i'm glad this is a short thread!

but she was wrong to let the sheriff dept. waste all those resources for no reason. she can be charged for that, and i hope she is. so she's mad at hubby, a lot of people gave up their Christmas for ground and air search.

SEMINOLE COUNTY - A 36-year-old woman who disappeared Saturday night following a fight with her husband has been found, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said this afternoon.

Deputies had said they considered the disappearance of Sandra Lyons suspicious and were continuing their search today. But in an e-mail to the media at 2:30 p.m., deputies said Lyons "was reportedly found safe and unharmed with a friend. Details regarding the circumstances around her disappearance are not known at this time."

I agree!  Once the search and rescue are involved, it's time to show up "really quick!"  But what ever happened to the good old days when you could just disappear for awhile?  It's hard to stomp out of the house saying, "and by the way, I'm going to be gone for awhile"!  Kind of takes the zing out of it doesn't it?  :lmao:

That does beg the question of:

Should she be charged with disappearing to be AWAY from her husband for a while?

Or should he be charged with frantically calling up every emergency service and police he could find?

People DO have the right to not speak to their family for a few days at a time if they don't want to -- AND to not be there to be verbally abused (or get verbally abusive if they feel that they'd just be provoked by

Some might call that irresponsible to not "stay at home and take it in the face" if that's what it requires "for the children"

in any scenario, she had the responsibility to let the authorities know she was safe once she realized there was an extensive search in progress. nobody said she had to go home if she didn't want to.
