i would have charged her nasty butt too, right after i helped her up after she slipped and fell down. W.Va. Woman Accused of Wiping Her Nose on Cop's Shirt Charged With Battery Thursday, December 27, 2007 ![]() DUNBAR, W.Va. — Sometimes you need a police officer; sometimes you need a tissue. Confuse the two, and it could cost you. A woman in this Charleston suburb was charged with battery on a police officer after the officer said she wiped her nose on the back of his shirt. Cpl. S.E. Elliott said he had arrested the 36-year-old woman last week after seeing her slap a man, bite him on the elbow and spit in his face. Elliott said the woman wiped her nose on him as he led her into the police station for booking on a charge of domestic battery.

why would i delete your post? spitters, snot-noses, and others who put unmentionable bodily fluids on police or EMTs SHOULD feel the consequences. in a legal context, of course.

That's disgusting. Good for the law enforcement officer. Snot from lowlives likely contains contagious organisms which can cause disease and disability. The officer should have emptied his or her nostrils in the offender's mouth.

The officer should have emptied his or her nostrils in the offender's mouth. I worked in an E.R. for 6years, one which had a contract with the LAPD and LA County Sheriff's Dept. I can't stand to repeat some of the sick things I've seen people do to law enforcement officers in the ER. The two ER doctors I worked with had great ways to get back at spitters, bleeders, syringe throwers, and PCP/Freebase abusers. Ipecac at high levels makes the perps rethink some of their nasty actions. This was during the mid 70's to early 80's, and the EMT's, Police, and Firefighters weren't quite as worried about being videoed, or following perfect protocol, when endangered with the HIV virus, amongst others. dr. Steve

Many of the habitual offenders caught and arrested time and time again resort to all kinds of tactics while being apprehended, biting, scratching, spitting, using concealed weapons, vomiting, defecating, urinating, feigning heart attacks, strokes, panic attacks anything to make the "arrest experience" so much more fun for all participants !
