Another victimless crime. Nowhere in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, or any other official document in America, (other than the Tax Bill) does it mandate that a citizen must pay taxes for services provided and paid for. If GW Bush and Dickless Cheney can remain free (and laugh at the rest of us Americans) for giving their friends trillions of dollars at taxpayers expense, to do nothing other than rape, pillage and steal, then no other citizen should do jail time for evading income taxes or underpaying them. All in the name of bullshit democracy.

I hear you, believe me, but man, you can't be making the tens of millions that he makes on films and then go around not paying your taxes. That's too big of a middle finger.
I agree, like it or not we all have to pay our fair share of taxes. The way I understand this situation is that he was asked by the IRS to pay over $2 million, and his accountants believed he owed 1/10 of that amount. In any case, any crime that is victimless, such as prostitution, or posession of marijuana, should NEVER necessitate jail time. If this happened to Scooter Libby, would he go to jail? Of course not.
