Some of the group from the old forum will remember this story, but I think it needs to be told again.  This forum could use some humor.  :giantgrin:

About 7 or 8 years ago, I was with this dimwit moron who I only refer to now as "the idiot baseball player".  Sis will know just who I mean, as forgettable as he was.  Anyhoo....he had a lead foot.  It didn't matter where we were going, he was doing 80mph.  One night we get pulled over on a surface street about 3 blocks from our house.  When the cop gets to the window, he asks if the idiot baseball player knows why he is being pulled over.  "Well, I might have been going a little fast". says the moron.  NEVER give them a reason; always say NO!!!!

So the cop says, "A little fast?  Do you know the speed limit on this road?   It is THIRTY FIVE miles an hour!!"  So, doofus says, "How fast was I going?"  To which the cop replies, "53.  I clocked you at 53 miles an hour."

Being a smartass, I leaned across and said, "If I told you he was dyslexic would that make a difference?"  The cop roared with laughter, told him to slow it down, and let him go with no ticket.

It was just one of those things that struck you at the right time, in the right place.

Like I said in email; next cop that pulls me over and asks me if I know why he did so, I'm going to say, "I figured you wanted to share your donuts with me."  Don't think I won't!!!  That's Macomb County jail, at Groesbeck and Elizabeth Lake road you will have to bail me out of.  :giantgrin:  :lmao:
