i just got word.  my Lt. died this morning. God, he was a good guy! he was only 50. he was diagnosed with stomach cancer only a week ago.

he and i used to laugh, he would beat his head on the desk when i came into briefing.:bang9: but he loved me. heh. i knew he did.

once, after my knee surgery, he asked how i would chase down bad guys. i said i'd just shoot them. he laughed for a week after that!

RIP Glen. you were the best. ::ladycop:: :heartbeat: ::rose::

It kind of depends. The problem is if it metastasizes (spreads to other organs via the blood and  lymph system) quickly. The stomach is right there with the liver, pancreas, kidneys and spleen.

He could have been non-symptomatic for a long time. Cops tend to b e tough guys, you know. Tough guys tend to shrug things off as part of the job.
