Regarding a bill to create and fund a cold-case group within the Justice Department:

"The legislation is sponsored by Democratic U.S. Rep. John Lewis of Georgia and passed 422-2 in the House. But Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Oklahoma, used an obscure Senate rule to freeze the bill"

How is it possible or fair for a single Senator to block the will of the Congress and the people?

This apparently has been stalled for some time by this guy, who just happens to hate government spending of any kind.

I hate government spending too -- but not in all cases.

It doesn't seem right that there's a way for a single lowly Senator to be able to thwart the efforts and will of millions of people who did NOT get to vote for him-- and who he DOES NOT represent...

Hell, I LIVE in Oklahoma and I think Coburn is a jerk.
