News, links, mission schedules, and NASA for kids.you might enjoy this link. i really hope you are able to visit one day! oh, and don't miss the IMAX theater, you really feel what it's like to ride the shuttle! beats the hell out of all the theme parks down here! ...the cape is on merritt island which is a wildlife preserve....so when you're driving out you may well see big alligators basking on the side of the road!

They have an IMAX in the furniture store in Nashua but I believe they are building one about 5 mi away. Never been to one but I hear they are great. Sensory stimulation is like cutting edge tech. today...............some theaters use nasal stimulation..........imagine that the smell of rocket fuel!..........now I want to see woodstock, there is some nasal stimulation for ya!::chuckle::

Space station oxygen, water computers fail
Russian computers that control the international space station's orientation and supply of oxygen and water have failed, potentially extending the space shuttle's mission -- or cutting it short. Russian engineers aren't sure why the computers stopped working. A failure of this type has never occurred before on the space station.
