This past week the moon has been exceptionally beautiful.  It's impossible for pictures to capture what my eyes really saw.  Here's some pictures of what I feel is a beautiful night view.  What planet/star is it that's so close to the moon right now??  It's a spectacular sight!  If anyone else has taken any pictures of this, post them!!

The summer solistice was today and with a full moon it seemed huge I only wish the sky was more clear last night. It was a once in a while happening, and must have amazed the few that had a clear night. I looked but never saw it.

    I do remember many years ago sitting on the Indian ocean and watching the sun come up once the thing took up the entire horizon, and I thought a nuke had been dropped on Iran (This was during the hostage crisis) kinda scared me a little (well it was alot) :shock:
