Hi, Everyone.

The NY Times is reporting that Tivos with Internet access will soon be hooked in to Amazon, so that users can buy things they see advertised on their Tivos.

I really have two thoughts about this:

1)  It's pretty convenient to be able to buy things online from the comfort of your couch.

2)  Tivo doesn't particularly need more ads.  The ones that they already pepper into the menu are annoying enough.

Has anyone else got an opinion on this?

i only learned the joys of online shopping a couple years ago, and have nothing but GOOD things to say about how amazon has treated me. is that far enough off-topic for you to kick my butt? ::sgrin::
