This is the package I use when we need to wipe down the data on a disk, sometimes they don't want me to take a torch to it...  It does:

Quick Erase
Canadian RCMP TSSIT OPS-II Standard Wipe   American DoD 5220-22.M Standard Wipe
Gutmann Wipe   PRNG Stream Wipe
