Nope, God is alive and well.:D  The human arguments over the... "Earth-Age" debate doesn't silence the overwhelming evidence in nature of intelligent design.

Dear Bob,

Please open eyes and ears and look around you. The evidence of creation is very clearly seen. It doesn't require imagination, just eyes and ears open for observation.

As the author says in the notes, this article doesn't "disprove God".  What it does is disprove the idea that the universe was created all at once 6,000 years ago.  (As I've said before, I'm assuming that the laws which govern the universe are consistent.  You can never discount completely the idea that the laws of the universe aren't consistent, but that kind of universe would basically be unlivable, for the simple reason that you could never count on any scientific princple.  (Will the sun rise tomorrow?  Will gravity spontaneously cease to function?  Will all the atoms in your body instantaneously split, producing a puddle of hot fudge and whipped cream?  If the world is without consitent physical properties, who the hell knows?)

In reality, the "6,000 year old universe" or even Earth, was dispelled when radioisotope dating was first used over 50 years ago. Even before that, sedimentation rates and rock formation, dispelled the myth for geologists. Hubble is just another set of facts reported that also dispel the myths.
People are not capable, as a whole, of discarding myths.
