My favorite root beer is Mugs Diet. Of course I think many of you will squirm at the word "diet" after root beer. ::chuckle::

People who squirm at diet I find haven't had any of the non-saccharine (YECH!)

ones. I've actually made a couple of converts when the machines were empty

at work and they asked to have one out of my personal stash...

DIET BARQ's RULES!!!!!

Hey Frank!  At the grocery store today, we saw Jones' pure cane root beer.  That means no high fructose corn syrup or other additives, made from only pure cane sugar.  I bet it tastes delish!!! :)

Very interesting, I've never even heard of pure cane rootbear or soda.  I will have to check it out - thanks for the tip, Susan.  ::thumbs::

I have had Jone before.  It is pretty good.  I have never had the root beer, though.  But the orange is good.

Without wanting to sound like an "outsider".

I tasted Root beer in Florida in 1989 and I thought it was ::bigvomit::

Must be a cultural thing.

It tasted like medication, like something a mother would force down the throat of a sick infant.

And before anyone asks, no I am not being sarcastic, I as a british male unused to the taste thought is was foulness personified.

Ninja, Root Beer is an aquired taste.  Took me a while to get used to it.  It is not my favorite flavor of soda pop, and to be honest, I prefer it as a float..adding a scoop of ice cream to it.
