was just installed today.  We have company and I am going to make cookies, bread, and crescent rolls.  I'm also going to make some French onion dip (for potato chips) in my new Magic Bullet.  Maybe it will make our company, who we love like family, stay longer...I hope so!! I better go get started. ::sgrin::

OK, I will put in my order.  How about some double chocolate chip cookies from the oven.  And an Orange Smoothee from the Magic Bullet.  I will be over tomorrow at 3.  ::eats::

C'mon over, Marie!  I have strawberry/banana smoothies and chocolate chip cookies already made.  The bread and rolls are in the oven as we speak. :D

Everything except the bread turned out great.  I have a hunch that the water I used for the bread wasn't warm enough for the yeast to rise enough.  I'm going to try the recipe again today and will report how it turns out if anyone's interested. :)

By the way, I have to keep an eye on everything I cook and/or bake on my new range.  It works a lot more efficiently than the old one.  For example, the recipe calls for 11 to 13 minutes in the oven for the cookies, but they were brown enough after just 9 min.  Water boils a lot more quickly on the stovetop.

I noticed the same thing when I got my new convection oven.  I have to adjust temp and cooking times.

So, have you redone the bread yet?

I rebaked the bread yesterday and it turned out perfectly! Everyone loved it.  It's very soft.  I was right about the reason the first one didn't turn out correctly.  This time I used lukewarm water and the yeast was able to make the bread rise so it became light and fluffy.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! ::eats:::drool:
