Salmonella found on jalapeño; warning issued
Investigators looking for the source of a months-long salmonella outbreak had a "significant break" when they found a jalapeño pepper contaminated with the bacteria at a Texas food supplier, authorities said today. The Food and Drug Administration warned consumers to avoid fresh jalapeños and products made with fresh jalapeños. full story

This year I am canning all my vegetables. I may get 30 jars from my dinky garden but next year I will get 60 hell my grandparents did it and always bought locally. Screw buying them in the supermarket. I am gonna buy local from now on. If it doesn't grow around here I don't need it.:beat:   boycott all thousand mile away food, eat better people. It's not like you will starve to death!
