Welcome to Marie's Kitchen. My own little neck of the woods. I hope to make this the place to be to discuss everything food and cooking related. This will be a public forum, open to all.
Lets share some recipes, menu ideas, questions, answers ... whatever. I would also like us to be able to chat about fun things as well as serious ... cooking for a diabetic? Weight loss? Food allergies? Hopefully if you have a question, someone else will have an answer.
And what is a good meal without a great drink? Lets open the bar, and talk about drinks ... both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I am sure everyone has a favorite to share.
Please remember, everyone, that here, as in all forums, respect for others will be expected here. Please do not stray too far off topics ... start a new thread, if you must change the subject.
I will not tolerate extreme profanity, or disregard for the feelings of other posters here. Friendly banter about how to "best" prepare something will be fine as long as there are no personal attacks on people who do things differently from you. Please remember we have several countries and regions represented here. Let us please respect that.

Yes, I am back. I was going to change the intro, but I kind of like the original. But I will add some thing here, as to where I'd like to go with the forum now..consider this an addition to the above intro, and all rules as stated are still in effect.
WELCOME TO MARIE’S KITCHEN
Welcome to the new and improved place to be. It is good to be back running the forum here. I would like to see this as a place to pull up a chair, have a drink, or a snack and just share some food related conversation and good times.
In my Italian family, all the important decisions were made around the kitchen table. There were gatherings of family and friends, birthdays, holidays, or just a Sunday dinner.
So, let this forum be 24’s kitchen table. I hope you will share conversation, a recipe or two, or just a chat about favorite foods or places to eat.
The rules here are few, be nice, try to stay on topic and try to stay within the theme of the forum. Remember that there are different cultures and food tastes at 24. So please no flaming, trolling or rudeness if you happen to not like something. Disagree? Yes. Name calling, no.
So, again, welcome, and in the words of Italian grandmothers everywhere “Mangia e statti zitto.”*
